Many of us feel prompted to pray when we need something from God. These are excellent times to pray, but we may miss the fact that prayer isn't strictly a transaction where you ask God for something, and He either gives it to you or doesn't. Instead, it's an interaction that should leave us feeling closer to our Heavenly Father and conformed more into the image of His Son.
